At the edge of the town of Gastouni is one of the oldest Byzantine monuments in Ilia, the holy church of Panagia Catholic, dedicated to the Assumption. Probably dates back to the second half of the 13th century.
For the restoration of the church we supplied hydraulic lime mortars and ceramic powder.
