Basic Coat
It is a ready – made plaster of natural hydraulic lime (NHL 3,5) and broken ceramic, without cement, designed specifically for the second main layer of plaster to consolidate the action of masonry and facing problems of rising moisture. Contains broken ceramic and graded limestone aggregates <3mm in diameter. It is applied where the moisture content is very high and the percentage of salt is very critical and cannot be treated with a simple coating. It has a high adhesion to the substrate and is classified as CS II class coated mortar and meets the requirements for purification coatings according to EN 998-1 standard.
