Troupakis family is an old hegemonic family of Mani, which prevailed in the region during the Turkish occupation. At Old Kardamili municipality of Lefktron in Mani is the complex fortress of Troupakis – Mourtzinos. Today has been declared as a historical monument and serves as a Classical, Byzantine and Folklore Museum. The tower contains among others oil press, forge and the church of Agios Spyridon in which the graves of family members are found.
For the restoration of the complex we supplied mortars based on hydraulic lime.
