The house where top Greek songwriter and singer Manos Hatzidakis , born and lived in the early years of his life , was built in the late 18th century , and is perhaps the most characteristic imprint sample of the cosmopolitan perception of Xanthi’s principles of the last century in architecture. Declared in 1995 as preserved building, today is listed as a featured work of art and a historical monument. After the exemplary restoration now serves as multiplex of Art and Thought.
